Matthew Molitor, DDS, MS

Davis orthodontist, Dr. Molitor is a native of the Sacramento area. He grew up in Fair Oaks where he graduated from Del Campo High School and went to college at U.C. Santa Barbara.

Education and Experience

Dr. Molitor went to Dental School at U.C. San Francisco and this is where he received his D.D.S. degree. Dr. Molitor was awarded a scholarship from the United States Air Force that paid for his Dental Education and granted him placement in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency.

After completing his AEGD Residency at Barksdale AFB in Louisiana, Dr. Molitor practiced dentistry in the Air Force for 3 years. After finishing his commitment with the Air Force he returned to U.C. San Francisco for a 3-year residency in Orthodontics, where he received his Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics as well as a Master of Science Degree. Following his residency, Dr. Molitor became Board Certified in Orthodontics and is now a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.

Community Involvement

Dr. Molitor moved to Davis in 1999 where he joined the established orthodontic practice of Dr. Robert Andresen. Dr. Molitor currently lives in Davis with his wife Michelle. They raised their 3 children in Davis and have been active in the community for over 20 years. In his free time Dr. Molitor enjoys boating, wakeboarding wakesurfing, hiking, and traveling. He also loves movies, sports, and brewing beer.
